* Sandvik 12c27 Stainless Steel Chemical composition
0.6% of Carbon: It improves hardness and wear/corrosion resistance, but a high amount of it decreases strength. 13.5% of Chromium: For tensile strength and Edge retention and enhances corrosion resistance and wear resistance. 0.4% of Manganese: Increases hardness and brittleness. 0.4% of Silicon: Increases strength like Manganese. 0.03% of Phosphorus: Increases strength. 0.03% of Sulfur: Increases machinability, and decreases strength.
The presence of more than 12% of chromium makes the Sandvi 12c27 a stainless steel, with 0.6% of carbon, which is a bit higher when you compare to low-end steels.

Evo’s innovative cup system provides strong mounting interface with simple and efficient set-up and adjustment

5mm higher cups are also available upon special request

 

Blade preparation : We do a ST-3 progressive rocker on them (see numbers here) as well as the matching bend
