The Guardog™ Pedigree

Forty years ago, our company, Marc Evon Enterprises Inc. – created the world’s first two-piece, mix ‘n match
skateguard. Throughout our years of innovation, millions of skaters, including countless internationally-renowned
professional and amateur competitors, have relied on our guards for blade protection. So many skaters
have called our guards their “blades best friend”. We felt like naming our product, Guardog™, was both fun and
fitting. Symbolized by our corporate logo comprised of the “G” with paw printsymbol and red Canadian Maple
leaf, the Guardog™ brand is about quality, innovation, and our proudly Canadian heritage.

Our product line

Figure, hockey, speed skating and soft wear accessories. Further represented by our various dog
logos. Keeping with the idea of fun, each of the dogs were specifically chosen to symbolize each area of our
product focus. Hence a puppy dog for FIGURE, Bulldog for HOCKEY, Greyhound for SPEED and Shar-pei for
SOFTWEAR.

Over the years,

as our brand evolved, we pioneered the idea that superior blade protection could also be about
fun, self expression, UNIQUENESS, individuality, and choice. A lot of choice. Created by our superior colours and
innovative effects, finishes, treatments and scents. In turn, each of the above attributesis
symbolized by a fun, colourful, and graphically appealing logo as seen below.
In 2017, following the idea that OLD DOGS can learn NEW TRICKS, we introduced the new TOP NOTCH™
universal two-piece skateguard. Not only did it have an updated and functional aesthetic (to distinguish itself from
the various copies of our original design), it included many new features for better fit and performance.

And we didn’t stop there. In 2018 the new ZIGZAGZ™ universal two-piece skateguard continued
the Guardog™ tradition and further enhanced the notion that “It’s your turn to Freestyle”.
As we celebrate our 40th anniversary, we did so in the year 2020, with “perfect vision” for the future, based on
our unending legacy of high quality and innovation.
